Our Co-Pastor

Rev.  Kim L. (Amerson) Cotten, M.Th., an anointed woman of God, is a native of West Virginia. She is fueled by passion to execute God’s command for such a time as this. Wherever she travels she encourages her listeners to broaden their relationship with God and rise to a level of excellency in the spirit realm.
 
She is employed at the PerkinElmer Corporation, Life and Analytical Sciences Division as an Executive Assistant to the President of Analytical Science and Laboratory Services.  She has been employed at PerkinElmer for 29 1/2 years.

She is married to Rev. Dr. W. Vance Cotten, Sr., Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Middletown, CT and is now blessed with three sons, Vance, Jr., Jonathan and Joshua ( Sana) and 4 wonderful grandchildren. 

On the local level, she serves as Co-Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  She is overseer of the Women’s Ministry, a.k.a Sisters of the Kingdom.  From that ministry, a Health and Wellness Ministry has been birthed.  She is Facilitator of the third Sunday 7:00 p.m. evening worship service held at Shiloh. She also conducts a noon day service every 1st Monday of each month.

On the state level, she is an instructor at the Christian Leadership Bible College in New Haven, CT where she also earned her Masters in Theology in May of 2010.  

On the regional level, she serves as the chairperson of Clergy Women in Ministry and the Leading Lady of the New England Missionary Baptist Convention.

Her motto is:  Only what you do for Christ will last.
