Macy Watson, Jr. is the older of two sons born to Macy and Robin Watson, Sr. Macy’s brother is Rashaun Watson.
Macy was born at Middlesex Hospital on April 28, 1986 with a medical condition called a cleft palate. He had an opening at the roof of his mouth. As an infant and toddler, he had to endure multiple surgeries to close the cleft palate. Macy’s first word was not Mom or Dad; it was “HALLELUJAH.”
As a child, Macy experienced being teased by a few of his classmates but he did not let that stop him. He kept moving in the path that Christ paved for him. He would play church as a child with his toys and cousins. Macy was always the “preacher” and they were the choir and church members. Macy also recorded short sermons on tapes at the tender age of three.
As he matured, he began to shed his shyness and take on boldness in Christ. He began singing at different churches across Connecticut. He became known for Pastor Shirley Caesar’s song, “Hold My Mule, Shouting John”.
Macy became a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in 2004. Prior to accepting his call into the ministry, he appeared on local television broadcasts, such as Ask Ave and Rev. Bantum’s Gospel Hour, to continue his work for the Lord.
He currently attends Christian Leadership Bible College in New Haven, Connecticut where he is studying to show himself approved until God!
Macy knows that he has been chosen in this season to preach a living word to a dying world.
